The Texans worked out three players Tuesday, according to a league source not authorized to speak publicly.
That included former Cincinnati Bengals offensive tackle Andre Smith. Smith is a former first-round draft pick from Alabama. He has 98 career starts.
They also worked out CFL offensive tackle Travis Vornkahl (Sasketchewan Roughriders, West Texas A&M) and former Oakland Raiders tight end Paul Butler. None were immediately signed to a contract.
