What's becoming an annual tradition for the Houston Texans will continue this year.
The Texans will have two days of joint practices with the San Francisco 49ers in Northern California this summer, 49ers coach Chip Kelly said. The 49ers will have joint practices with both the Texans and the Denver Broncos.
"I just think it’s a chance to see other guys, a chance to see different schemes," Kelly said. "I’ve always been a big fan of it. ... As long as the coaches kind of agree to the format in terms of what’s going on, I think you can get a lot of positives out of it and I know Billy [O'Brien, Texans coach] and Kubes [Broncos coach Gary Kubiak] really well.
