The Houston Texans have dealt with numerous injuries on the defensive side of the ball this year.
It looks like they tried to add some depth by claiming defensive tackle Sheldon Day off of waivers after the Jacksonville Jaguars decided to cut him.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reported on Tuesday that the Texans put in a claim for Day, but the San Francisco 49ers had priority over them and ended up landing him.
