Texans head coach Bill O'Brien will officially add the GM title and Jack Easterby will become executive vice president of football operations.
The Texans have given coach Bill O’Brien the general manager’s title, and they’ve promoted executive vice president of team development Jack Easterby to executive vice president of football operations, owner Cal McNair said Tuesday.

O’Brien has been the general manager without the title, and Easterby has been assistant general manager without the title since Brian Gaine was fired last June.
“This is the way we’ve been operating for the last eight months,” McNair said.
