In an interview with Ross Tucker, Houston Texans defensive end Will Anderson confirmed suspicions that had been haunting Texans fans for a whole offseason: his hit on Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes in the postseason was clean.
For context: during the first quarter of the Texans-Chiefs playoff game on Jan. 18, Anderson came charging at Mahomes, hitting him in the chest on 3rd & 8. Mahomes fired the ball downfield for an incomplete pass, but because of the roughing the passer call, the Chiefs had first down in Houston territory. It eventually led to a 23-14 loss.
