The Texans' special teams broke down Saturday night against the Dallas Cowboys.
Trevor Daniel got a punt blocked in the first quarter of a 34-0 loss that was recovered for a touchdown.
Joe Thomas blocked the punt at the 30-yard line then chased down the punt in the end zone for the score.
Thomas darted past Jahleel Addae and Cullen Gillaspia.
"I think we had a rookie over there that kind of missed the block a little bit," Texans coach Bill O'Brien said. "It was a bad night. We'll get back. We'll watch it on Monday and get back to work here.
