The Texans re-signed veteran defensive end Joel Heath and cut offensive tackle Dan Skipper.
Heath is a former starter who was released prior to the start of the regular season. He has 34 career tackles and three sacks in three NFL seasons, all with the Texans.
Skipper was signed off of the New England Patriots' practice squad. He played extensively against the Indianapolis Colts, but struggled overall at pass blocking.
