Texans QB Deshaun Watson named to first Pro Bowl

In his second NFL season, Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson is going to the Pro Bowl for the first time.

Watson was named to the NFL's annual all-star game as an alternate. He replaces New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who is in the Super Bowl for the ninth time following an overtime win in the AFC championship game over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Watson joins Texans teammates J.J. Watt, Jadeveon Clowney, DeAndre Hopkins, Benardrick McKinney and Lamar Miller as Pro Bowl honorees. Hopkins, Clowney and Watt won't play in the game in Orlando, Fla., on Jan. 27 because of injuries.
