HOUSTON -- Deshaun Watson not only continues to set touchdown records for a rookie quarterback, but his 19 passing touchdowns through seven games ties him for the league-lead with Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz.
Eighteen of those passing touchdowns have come in his past five games, which is the most by a rookie over any five-game span in NFL history.
Watson threw for 402 yards and four touchdowns against the league’s then-No. 1 scoring defense in the Texans’ loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, and he has an even easier opponent on Sunday.
