The parking lots were a little wet, but the skies were clear and pleasantly cool - at least for Houston in September - as fans gathered at NRG Stadium for the first Texans regular season home game of the year.
The 79-degree morning made for a party-like atmosphere as the Texans' usual tailgate spots filled up as soon as the gates opened.
With the New York Giants in town, there also were plenty of Giants jerseys making their way through the tailgate area, but - aside from some chanting going back and forth - everyone seemed to get along just fine.
