Texans need second WR with Nico Collins. Can Christian Kirk fill role?

The Houston Texans' battered receiving corps late last season was a driving factor of the team's offensive slump through the winter. Houston general manager Nick Caserio spent his spring restocking the cupboard at a depleted positon.

Not only did Houston use two of its first three draft picks in April on wide receivers (second-rounder Jayden Higgins and third-rounder Jaylin Noel, both from Iowa State). The Texans opened their pocketbooks in March, acquiring wide reciever Christian Kirk and his $16.5 million salary in a trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
