Texans like Tyron Johnson's speed, potential on practice squad

Texans rookie wide receiver Tyron Johnson flashed speed and body control during training camp.

Although Johnson didn't make the 53-man roster, he's now back with the Texans on their practice squad after a short stint on the Buffalo Bills' practice squad and a tryout with the Oakland Raiders last Friday. Johnson rejoined the Texans after wide receiver Vyncint Smith left the practice squad to join the New York Jets' active roster.

An undrafted free agent from Oklahoma State, Johnson runs a 4.36 speed in the 40-yard dash, Johnson is difficult to stop. He had a 44-yard reception in a preseason loss to the Green Bay Packers.
