Texans' Justin Reid played with torn labrum, to undergo surgery

Texans safety Justin Reid definitely earned his Ed Block Courage award this season.

Reid played through a painful torn labrum in his shoulder and will undergo surgery to repair the damage, according to league sources not authorized to speak publicly.
