Veteran cornerback Johnathan Joseph disagreed with how Patriots coach Bill Belichick interpreted a coverage the Texans used following a conversation between Joseph and safety Andre Hal overheard by offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels.
During the Texans' loss to the Patriots, McDaniels listened in on a talk between Joseph and Hal near the Patriots' sideline. That led to a 47-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Chris Hogan later in the game, according to Belichick's assessment during a film study segment on the Patriots' website.
That wasn't the case, though, according to Joseph.
"I read that and heard something about it," Joseph said Friday.
