Texans' Jadeveon Clowney has increased workload at practice

Outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney returned to practice Tuesday. He missed practice last week as well as the preseason victory over San Francisco because of soreness in his knee.

"I thought he did a good job," coach Bill O'Brien said. "That's a very competitive position. John Simon and Whitney Mercilus are really playing well. They're playing at a high level. J.D. comes back and adds to that mix. He was running around pretty well."
