The Texans have hired D'Anton Lynn as their new assistant defensive backs coach. He replaces Anthony Midget, who was promoted to coach the defensive backs after the season in place of the fired John Butler.
Lynn, a native Texan who played at Celina HS and Penn State, is the son of Los Angeles Chargers coach Anthony Lynn.
After leaving Penn State, Lynn worked with his father. He was a defensive intern with the New York Jets and a defensive assistant with Buffalo before spending last season as a defensive assistant on his father's staff with the Chargers.
