Texans backup center-guard Greg Mancz returns from an ankle injury this week, according to coach Bill O'Brien.
Mancz has been out since the first preseason game against the Green Bay Packers. He was inactive for the first two games of the regular season.
A former undrafted free agent from Toledo, Mancz started four games of 16 played last season and has 27 career starts.
Mancz is playing under a two-year, $7.921 million extension that includes $3.5 million guaranteed.
