The Texans' offensive line took on a younger configuration Thursday night against the Los Angeles Rams.
With no reason to risk any starters or backups in the fourth and final preseason game, the Texans started the following players across the line: left tackle Rick Leonard, left guard Malcolm Pridgeon, center Marquice Shakir, right guard Martinas Rankin and right tackle Christian DiLauro.
Former Pro Bowl left tackle Matt Kalil, out since a joint practice against the Detroit Lions when he got his foot stepped on and out the entire season last year due to a knee injury, participated in warmup drills.
