Texans veteran defensive lineman Christian Covington has played football in Houston ever since graduating from high school in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Now, the former sixth-round draft pick from Rice is expected to hit free agency.
Covington is expected to have a healthy market after recording career-high 3 1/2 sacks in a dozen games with two starts last season.
