Texans defensive end Devon Still defended his block on Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer during linebacker John Simon's interception return for a touchdown that wasn't penalized, but drew scrutiny when he made contact with Palmer's helmet.
"I turned around and I saw him dive for John and I took him out," said Still, adding that he's crossing his fingers that he won't be fined by the NFL. "It was simple. I see a lot of people saying it was a cheap shot, but what if he made the tackle."
Palmer got medical attention on the sideline, but emphasized afterward that he was unhurt and said he had no problem with Still's actions.
