The Texans have until this afternoon to get down to 53 players. A look at Saturday's early moves:
9:46 a.m.: The Texans waived-injured outside linebacker LaTroy Lewis with a hamstring injury, according to a league source not authorized to speak publicly. Lewis isn't expected to be out for a long amount of time.

8:52 a.m.: The Texans cut cornerback Bryce Jones. Jones went undrafted out of Akron last year and spent time on the Texans' practice squad and offseason roster.
