The Texans cut reserve cornerback Marcus Burley on Tuesday. Burley was released one day after former first-round draft pick Kevin Johnson returned to practice after missing four games with a sprained medial collateral ligament.
Burley played in five games for the Texans and had one tackle. He has previous stints with the Seattle Seahawks and Cleveland Browns. Burley has two career interceptions and is a former undrafted free agent from Delaware.
