Texans cornerback Kareem Jackson is sporting a much leaner physique this offseason through a different approach he adopted for both football purposes and his pending nuptials.
Listed at 5-10, 188 pounds on the roster, Jackson is noticeably quicker and lighter and is reacting quickly to the football during the Texans' organized team activities.
It was a change Jackson made with the idea that he could play faster and also wanting to look his best in his tuxedo for his upcoming wedding.
“I’m always a certain weight at a certain time of the year," Jackson said. "I actually just took it upon myself to stay a little smaller this year around this time.
