Texans' Charles James excited about Jacksonville homecoming

Growing up in Florida, Texans cornerback Charles James was an unabashed fan of his hometown Jacksonville Jaguars.

A former Mandarin High School standout, James had always hoped to play in the NFL one day in front of family and friend back in Jacksonville.

Now, the popular reserve cornerback and special-teams standout gets that chance Sunday when the Texans travel to play the Jaguars in an AFC South divisional matchup.

"Of course I grew up in Jacksonville and grew up as a Jaguars fan, so this is big for me," James said Monday inside the Texans' locker room.
