It wasn't the kind of individual season that cornerback Aaron Colvin envisioned when he joined the Texans on a four-year, $34 million contract that included $18 million guaranteed.
Colvin had hoped to make a big contribution, but it never happened for him this season after arriving as the Texans' most expensive free agent.
The former Jacksonville Jaguars starter was a healthy scratch for a playoff loss to the Indianapolis Colts. He was limited to 10 games and two starts due to an ankle injury and losing ground to other players on the depth chart.
"I'm pretty disappointed with how it went on the field, but it was a great year for me because I experienced a lot of things I never experienced before," Colvin said.
