Quarterback Brock Osweiler said today he would have joined his former Denver teammates at the White House if not for the Texans' OTA.
"If there was no OTA today, I would have gone to the White House," Osweiler said. "I think it would have been a tremendous experience to meet the president and to celebrate that championship with those players who are going today.
"I believe every single practice, every single rep, every single meeting I can get in this new offense is the most important thing for myself and my teammates right now."
Coach Bill O'Brien wouldn't have held it against Osweiler if he had elected to make the trip to meet with President Obama in a special ceremony.
