Texans' Brennan Scarlett on incorrect call: 'I'm just glad I didn't get the fine'

As Texans outside linebacker Brennan Scarlett thought would happen, the NFL has vindicated him by not fining him for an incorrect unnecessary roughness penalty against the Tennessee Titans.

Scarlett was flagged for a big hit on Titans wide receiver Kalif Raymond, but clearly led with his shoulder. It was a clean tackle, but it wasn't reviewable under NFL officiating rules and the first down led to a game-tying Titans touchdown in the fourth quarter of a narrow Texans win.

“I pride myself on trying to play this game the right way," Scarlett said.
