HOUSTON -- Since the Houston Texans traded quarterback Brock Osweiler and his $16 million salary to the Cleveland Browns, coach Bill O’Brien has chosen to wish Osweiler well but has continued to say the team is moving on to 2017.
But when was asked about his former starter this week at the NFL owners meetings, O’Brien said he learned a lot from last season. In O’Brien’s three seasons since he took over in Houston, the Texans have had eight different starting quarterbacks.
“I’ve learned a lot of lessons personally,” O’Brien said.
