Texans bench Zach Cunningham for disciplinary reasons

For the second straight week, the Texans have made one of the leaders of their defense inactive due to disciplinary reasons.

Starting linebacker Zach Cunningham was made inactive for Sunday's game against the Colts because he missed the team's COVID-19 testing in the morning, according to the Houston Chronicle's Brooks Kubena, who cited a "person familiar with the situation."

It's the second time this season Cunningham has been punished for violating team rules, missing the first quarter of the Browns game in Week 2 due to recurring lateness issues, according to SportsTalk 790's Aaron Wilson.
