The Texans have signed veteran running back Taiwan Jones, according to his agent, Doug Hendrickson.
Jones is a former Oakland Raiders fourth-round draft pick from Eastern Washington. He has 52 career special teams tackles.
He played for the Buffalo Bills the past two seasons.
Jones, 6-1, 200 pounds, has run the 40-yard dash in 4.33 seconds.
Jones was placed on injured reserve last season with the Bills with a neck injury.
He was named a team captain in 2018 on special teams.
Jones has rushed for 183 career yards and 18 receptions for 251 yards.
