More than two decades have passed since then-Houston Oilers owner Bud Adams packed up and took the team to Tennessee in 1997, where they have been known as the Titans since 1999, but the topic still remains a sore subject to a significant portion of longtime Houston sports fans. It appears the Titans will reopen some wounds in the Bayou City during the upcoming season.
In a mailbag for the Titans' official website released Sunday, team reporter Jim Wyatt took questions from Tennessee fans. One of these individuals asked about the possibility of the Titans wearing throwback Oilers uniforms this year.
