The Texans raised nearly $350,000 at their 11th annual Taste of the Texans event Monday night at NRG Stadium.
The event, by Sysco and including 27 of the top restaurants in Houston , was attended by co-founder and owner Janice McNair, chairman Cal McNair and team president Jamey Rootes.
Proceeds go toward hunger-relief programs at the Houston Food Bank along with Houston Methodist Hospital with more than $2.2 million total raised for those organizations overall through Taste of the Texans.
Several players attended the event, including outside linebacker Jacob Martin, offensive lineman Greg Mancz, cornerback Lonnie Johnson Jr.
