Sources: Texans to re-sign LB Tyrell Adams to one-year deal

The Texans are expected to sign veteran linebacker Tyrell Adams to a one-year contract at the start of the free agent signing period, according to league sources not authorized to speak publicly.

Adams had 13 tackles and one forced fumble last season in five games and two starts, filling in capable on defense.

A former undrafted free agent from West Georgia, Adams, 27, has also played for the San Francisco 49ers, Indianapolis Colts, Buffalo Bills, Raiders, Kansas CIty Chiefs and Seattle Seahawks.
