Will Anderson Jr. couldn’t help but grin when asked about his favorite big hits from his fellow Houston Texans teammates.
“Probably Jalen Pitre, man, in that Kansas City Chiefs game,” said Anderson at his locker. “Or the one he had against Derrick Henry. Those two are at the top.”
He paused. There was more.
“Azeez (Al-Shaair) got so many, so it's between those two,” Anderson continued. “Oh, and Kamari (Lassiter), those three. They have so many.”
The Texans have been a highlight machine on defense, from Lassiter’s bone-crushing hit on Kansas City Chiefs star wideout Rashee Rice that went viral on social media, to linebacker Henry To’o To’o’s punishing tackle on arguably the best receiver in the game—Puka Nacua of the Los Angeles Rams—Houston knows how to leave a mark on opponents.
