A large crowd is being anticipated for the Texans' game against the Oakland Raiders in Mexico City.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell announced today during a televised news conference that 110,000 people have registered to purchase tickets for the Nov. 21 Monday night game at Azteca Stadium that will be televised by ESPN.
In 2005, 103,467 watched the Arizona Cardinals defeat the San Francisco 49ers at Azteca Stadium.
"We are excited the Houston Texans can represent the NFL on an international stage for the first time on Monday Night Football this fall," Texans owner Bob McNair said earlier this year when plans for the game were announced.
