Report: Deshaun Watson has asked the Texans to trade him

Watson signed a new four-year, $156 million contract extension with the Texans in September. That contract has a no-trade clause, meaning Watson has to approve any trade, giving him some leverage on where he could be dealt.

Wilson reports the Texans don't want to trade Watson and hope Culley can help the franchise repair the franchise's relationship with their quarterback.

The Texans certainly don't have to trade Watson. They could hold sit tight and make Watson decide between grudgingly continuing to play or sitting out and missing game checks each week.
