The Houston Texans will have a new head coach for the third straight season in 2023, and it appears the franchise is set to go with a former fan favorite this time around. All signs point toward the Texans hiring San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator DeMeco Ryans, and unlike the two coaches before him, it seems Ryans would be here for the long haul.
If hired, Ryans would return to Houston with a six-year run as a San Francisco assistant on his resume, spending the last two seasons as defensive coordinator.
