Right now quarterback Tom Savage is the clear cut favorite to be the Texans’ starting quarterback for their regular season opener.
Don’t be surprise though if rookie Deshaun Watson gains some ground during the preseason.
Quarterback guru Quincy Avery told vSporto that Watson is a fast learner.
“Deshaun is someone who’s really really good at a lot of different things. You’ll never see something and say, ‘Deshaun’s not that good at that.’ So he gets to go into a huge situation with a really talented football team. And he gets to kinda bring them to the next level with his competitive temperament.
