Nick Caserio will be staying with the Patriots after the Texans dropped their pursuit of him as a possible general manager.
Nick Caserio didn't elaborate on the Texans' aborted pursuit of him for their general manager vacancy.
The Texans tried to interview Caserio and briefly faced tampering charges before agreeing to stop attempting to land the highly regarded 43-year-old who operates as Bill Belichick's top lieutenant.
Caserio spoke in generalities Saturday morning with New England reporters.
"Yeah, look, I'd say I'm pretty honored and privileged to be in the position I'm in, to work for this organization," Caserio said.
