INTERNET SLEUTH: What Deshaun Watson's cryptic tweet might actually mean
As the Houston Chronicle’s John McClain wrote on Thursday afternoon: “Forget about it.”
“Under no circumstances will the Texans trade Watson, who’s coming off an extraordinary season for a 4-12 team,” McClain continued.
Despite leading the league in passing yards, Watson still suffered through 12 losses which no doubt was frustrating. Perhaps “quietly broaching” trade talk with teammates equates to venting in the locker room after a loss.
Watson also started a mini-controversy when he tweeted "some things never change.
