Texans veteran free agent quarterback Brandon Weeden visited the Miami Dolphins, but didn't reach an immediate deal with the AFC East club.
Weeden visited along with defensive end Jason Jones and linebacker Sean Spence.
The Dolphins announced the visits were completed without any contracts being completed.
That doesn't rule out Weeden from signing with Miami, which is looking for a backup to starter Ryan Tannehill with free agent quarterback Matt Moore visiting the Dallas Cowboys.
Undefeated in two games last season for the Texans, Weeden hasn't agreed to terms yet. The door isn't closed on a potential return to the Texans, but nothing is pending and the Texans have Brock Osweiler, Brian Hoyer and Tom Savage under contract.
