Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins made a number of important late-game catches at NRG Stadium last Sunday in a 23-21 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Perhaps a pregame good deed fueled Collins' strong Sunday in Houston.
Collins met pregame on the field with the family of Adrian Gonzalez, a 12-year-old Texans fan with cerebral palsy. Gonzalez was a member of the Make-A-Wish program and a massive Texans' fan, though his wish was never realized as he died in September; his family burying him in a Texans jersey.
The Texans' community quickly worked to support the Gonzalez family months later.
