NFL draft prospect Noah Spence insists drug use is behind him

INDIANAPOLIS -- The experimentation with Ecstasy began for Eastern Kentucky defensive end Noah Spence at a party during his senior year of high school.

The club drug, commonly known as Molly, nearly derailed a promising football career at Ohio State and got him permanently banned from the Big Ten Conference following a second failed drug test.

Although Spence lied to his parents and coaches and claimed someone slipped something into his drink, he was done at Ohio State and transferred to Eastern Kentucky. Spence attended a drug treatment and education program at Ohio State at the direction of Buckeyes coach Urban Meyer before he switched schools with assistance from Meyer.
