NFL analyst: Texans QB Brock Osweiler likely a game manager

The Texans' massive offensive makeover is the team's biggest storyline entering the 2016 season and one of the more buzzworthy developments around the league.

Andy Benoit, a columnist for Sports Illustrated's MMQB website whose forte is breaking down film, tackled the Texans' offensive revamp in his latest column.

Benoit pointed out the rarity of a division winner signing new starters at quarterback and running back while adding two wide receivers high in the draft, as the Texans did. "Remarkably, the Texans made all of these decisions by choice, not necessity," he wrote.

Benoit also touched on holdover receiver DeAndre Hopkins, the Texans' best offensive player last season who emerged as one of the league's top wideouts.
