The Houston Texans are 4-2 after an impressive road win against the Kansas City Chiefs, but it wasn’t without several mistakes from their kicker Ka’imi Fairbairn. The 2015 Lou Groza Award recipient is currently facing the toughest start to his career after seeing success early in his first two seasons as the Texans kicker. Fairbairn’s made six of nine in his field goal attempts with two of his misses being beyond the 50-yard line.
Those misses are disappointing for a kicker at the NFL level as it separates the good from the great, but they are understandable under certain situations.
