Here are observations from Tuesday's Texans training camp practice, the first following Sunday's preseason opener.
1) It's amazing how smooth an offense works when it's in practice. Quarterback Brock Osweiler and his receivers looked terrific in their first practice since opening preseason with the victory over San Francisco. Conditions were ideal because they practiced inside their bubble. Osweiler will improve on his 4-of-7 for 27 yards performance. With so many new players on offense, it's going to take time, especially with so many linemen missing.
2) Perhaps the coach with the most difficult job is Mike Devlin, the second-year offensive line coach.
