J.J. Watt surprised his fourth grade teacher in Pewaukee, Wisconsin when he turned up with cake and presents Monday.
In the visit broadcast on Facebook Live, Watt said the soon-to-be retired Mrs. Keefe was one his “favorite teachers of all time.”
“(She) happens to be the one who told me I could play for the Wisconsin Badgers, told me I could play in the NFL," Watt said. "She is one of the biggest inspirations for me. She’s unbelievable and she’s retiring this year after 41 years."
