J.J. Watt Named AFC Defensive Player Of The Week

Last Monday night, the Texans eviscerated the Titans after falling behind 10-0. Marcus Mariota was sacked six times and failed to throw the ball downfield. J.J. Watt was an enormous reason for this.

Watt had 9 tackles, 6 solo, 1.5 sacks, 2.5 tackles for a loss, and 3 quarterback hits. For the season, Watt has 45 tackles (34 solo), 11.5 sacks, and 5 forced fumbles. His performance against Tennessee was a little bit better than most of his ridiculous weeks. In this one, Watt bullrushed Jack Conklin constantly and obliterated the players selected to counteract his ability.
