Well, this is unexpected.
After falling prey to a season-ending torn pectoral in October, J.J. Watt has kept a low profile in recovery--until Tuesday night, that is, when the Texans defensive end tweeted a video with his phone number asking fans to send him a text.
"I was talking to one of my buddies the other day," Watt said. "And we were talking about social media...how it's used, how to connect with fans, some of the negativity, things like that....and he said, 'Have you seen the new thing people are doing?' I said 'What is it?' And he said 'Texting directly to fans.
