Bashing a pair of home runs over the left field fence Saturday night at Minute Maid Park, Texans star defensive end J.J. Watt didn't hit quite enough of them to win the home run derby at his fourth annual charity softball game.
That crown went to middle linebacker Brian Cushing, who hit six over the fence to edge out punter Shane Lechler.
As competitive as the three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year tends to be and going his fourth year in a row without winning the home run derby, Watt didn't mind much. Watt rarely stopped smiling.
